Trail Trekking Matera

Get ready to experience an authentic adventure in the heart of the Murgia Materana Park. After a short briefing in the historic center of Matera, you will meet your nature guide, who will lead you along a route rich in history and natural beauty.


From the Sassi, we will follow trail 406, leaving the city behind and immersing ourselves in unspoiled landscapes. Halfway through the trek comes the most adrenaline-filled moment: crossing the Matera Tibetan Bridge, suspended over a spectacular canyon between sky and rock.


Continuing across the Murgia plateau, the guide will help you discover Mediterranean scrub, birds of prey in flight, and ancient rock-cut sites such as Madonna delle Tre Porte and San Falcione, guardians of medieval frescoes and centuries-old stories.


The experience ends with a comfortable shuttle transfer back to Matera, leaving you with unforgettable memories of a trek that combines adventure, nature, and culture.
