Work For Wine
With a strong passion for regenerating our earth – Tractorless Vineyard’s mix of old-world knowledge and new-world winemaking techniques, our strong interest in Biodynamic principles and the backing of like-minded winemakers, growers and farmers, we have created a sustainably balanced and diverse farming system producing premium, award-winning food and wines.
As our passion for creating natural farming ecosystems grows so does our need for assistance and since we do not have any accomodation on the farm yet we created our own version of WOOFing to help us transform the farm and at the same time hopefully helping us make some friends and build a community.
Book in to join us for a day, half day or even a few hours helping on the farm. For every hour you work we give you a $35 wine credit to use in our Cellar door and as we get more fresh produce we hope to grow this to include credit towards our meats and produce as well.
What you will be doing;
We have a range of projects we are currently working on including;
- Planting more trees for the Koala and Sugar glider habitats
- Weeding and mulching the existing plantings in the Koala and Sugar glider habitats
- Replanting vines into the vineyard
- Mulching young vines in the vineyard
- Planting flowers, shrubs and herbs amongst the vines to create more biodiversity in the vineyard itself
- Helping with construction of the Cellar door and farm shop
- Helping fencing off our Biodiversity zones
What do you need to bring;
We are working on the farm so its important to dress correctly you will need:
- To wear covered shoes we suggest boots is the best option
- Bring a Hat, Long sleeve shirt and sun protective clothing
- Bring a water bottle
- Brings snacks we will provide some but its hard work on the farm so best to be prepared.
- Wearing long pants will stop the long grass irritating your legs so is suggested for those who are irritated by long grass.
Lunch for those who have selected to join us for lunch we will provide a basic lunch we would love to offer what our winemaker eats but unfortunately he often gets distracted working on the farm and forgets about lunch so thought we better provide you more than air. Generally we will have a selection of cold meats, bread fruit etc for those that have selected this option.

Outdoor screening of kiss the ground
Kiss The Ground
A film by Josh Tickell and Rebecca Tickell
The solution is under our feet
Narrated and featuring Woody Harrelson, Kiss the Ground is an inspiring and groundbreaking film that reveals the first viable solution to our climate crisis.
Kiss the Ground reveals that, by regenerating the world’s soils, we can completely and rapidly stabilize Earth’s climate, restore lost ecosystems and create abundant food supplies. Using compelling graphics and visuals, along with striking NASA and NOAA footage, the film artfully illustrates how, by drawing down atmospheric carbon, soil is the missing piece of the climate puzzle.
This movie is positioned to catalyze a movement to accomplish the impossible – to solve humanity’s greatest challenge, to balance the climate and secure our species future.

Outdoor screening of The Biggest little farm
The Biggest Little Farm
A film by John Chester A vital blueprint for better living
THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM chronicles the eight-year quest of John and Molly Chester as they trade city living for 200 acres of barren farmland and a dream to harvest in harmony with nature.
Through dogged perseverance and embracing the opportunity provided by nature’s conflicts, the Chesters unlock and uncover a biodiverse design for living that exists far beyond their farm, its seasons, and our wildest imagination.
Featuring breathtaking cinematography, captivating animals, and an urgent message to heed Mother Nature’s call, THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM provides us all a vital blueprint for better living and a healthier planet.

Aerobic and an anaerobic composting learn the difference and how to make them
Decomposition is a microbial process critical to life on this planet. Minerals are recycled, carbon is sequestered in the soil as humus and soils are constantly regenerated in a cyclical fashion. This natural decomposition involves the same processes found in composting. However, composting involves the fast-tracking of these natural processes through human intervention. Here, the efficiency of decomposition is maximised through a fusion of science and art.
