Mount Lofty Summit & Lookout.


Journey into the Adelaide Hills and arrive at Mount Lofty, the highest peak of the Mount Lofty Ranges, standing over 710 meters tall. Explore the gift shop for unique souvenirs and take a moment to browse the local history displays that offer a glimpse into the area's rich past.
As you take in the breathtaking panoramic views across the Adelaide city skyline to the coast, you'll gain a true appreciation for how Matthew Flinders first spotted Mount Lofty from the distant Kangaroo Island in 1802.




Goldings Wines


Travel through the picturesque Onkaparinga Valley to arrive at Golding Wines, located on the outskirts of Lobethal.
Established by Darren and Lucy Golding, the winery’s first vintage was bottled in 2002 using grapes from the family vineyard that Darren planted with his parents, Greg and Connie, seven years prior. Today, their expanded Western Branch Vineyard in the Lenswood appellation of the Adelaide Hills remains central to their operations, serving as the exclusive fruit source for their diverse range of wines.
At the cellar door, you can savor a selection of their wines, including crisp Sauvignon Blancs, elegant Pinot Noirs, and rich Shirazes. Melbas Chocolate


Discover the sweet legacy of Melba’s Chocolates, which began in 1981 in a small wash house behind the Adelaide restaurant, ‘Melba’s’. By 1990, the growing popularity of their iconic South Australian treats, including Traffic Lights, Inch Licorice, and a variety of chocolates and confectioneries, led them to relocate to the historic Woodside Farmers Union Factory site.
Today, visit their factory shop to browse and purchase these beloved products while enjoying a charming display of antiques and collectibles. It’s a delightful way to experience a piece of local history and indulge in some delicious sweets.

Port Noarlunga Lookout


Travel along the beaches of Adelaide's southern coastline to arrive at Port Noarlunga. Home to a number of heritage buildings, the old port town has a history dating back to 1856 when ships loaded at the jetty with grain from the the region and sailed to Sydney and New Zealand.
Today Port Noarlunga is a popular holiday destination and fishing spot overlooking the waters of St Vincent's Gulf and spectacular coastal views of the Fleurieu Peninsula which you will be able to experience from the towns lookout.

Angove Family Winemakers is a fifth generation family business dedicated to crafting super premium and single vineyard wines from McLaren Vale, together with diverse wines from some of South Australia’s great wine growing regions.
With a history dating back to 1886 when Dr William Angove started making wines, the family has grown and developed the business with vineyards in a range of regions around South Australia, which is a great asset when producing wines of many varieties using fruit sourced from their own Australian certified organically grown vineyards. Almond Train and Robern Menz Chocolates


Make a stop in the heart of McLaren Vale to visit the The Almond Train and Robern Menz Chocolates, home to the FruChocs shop. The Almond Train has been McLaren Vale's one stop shop for the last 30 years showcasing the best gourmet foods the region has to offer.....and yes, it is based in an old 1920s railway carriage.
​Most South Australians would recognise the name FruChocs as being one of the icons of the state, a chocolate coated apricot and peach ball which Robern Menz started producing in 1948 due to a glut of Riverland fruit at the time. The ever popular confectionery is just one of their large range of products you can find in their FruChocs shop today.



Red Poles


Today you will visit Red Poles Restaurant and Gallery for your 2 course lunch.
Established in 2005 as a restaurant, gallery and bed and breakfast, Red Poles has developed into a popular destination for it's delicious meals within their spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas and their support of local craft beer, wine and gin. Art lovers also love the mix of art including the Indigenous art gallery space.
Their warmth hospitality is often enjoyed by full houses on weekends, when on a Sunday You can relax to the sounds of talented musicians.




K1 Winery by Geoff Hardy


Next we leave McLaren Vale behind and climb into the Adelaide Hills and arrive at the K1 Winery. The beautifully situated K1 cellar door overlooks the lake and vineyard, and has been recognised as one of Australia's Top 10 Cellar Door Experiences by leading wine industry publication, Wine Business Magazine.
​Lets just say that Geoff Hardy found the perfect location for producing cool climate grapes in the Adelaide Hills when in 1987 he established a vineyard in the Kuitpo region. Being the first commercial planting of vines in the region, he decided upon the name of K1.
Enjoy a taste in the lake side cellar door today.




Beerenberg Farm Shop


Travelling further north into the Adelaide Hills we arrive at the Beerenberg Family Farm, owned by Paech Family whose ancestors first started farming the land in 1839. They arrived as part of the group of German settlers who started the township of Hahndorf, which makes sense when you discovery the meaning of the word Beerenberg is German for "Berry Hill", the name that has been adopted since 1971.
​Enjoy exploring the Farm Shop which is full of locally grown jams, chutneys, gourmet relishes and sauces and we can't not include, strawberries!




Nepenthe Wines


Travel through the village of Hahndorf and escape into the rolling hills of the Onkaparinga Valley. The next winery of Nepenthe gives guests panoramic views of the Hills, looking over their estate grown vineyards towards the summit of Mount Lofty.
​Established in 1994, Nepenthe was driven by the vision to become one of the region's benchmark wineries, known for producing premium wines that showcase the unique nature of their home. Enjoy a tasting of their diverse range of wines that utilise fruit grown at different sites within the region.




Travel back to Adelaide

After a day of sightseeing and wine tasting, enjoy your tour out of the Adelaide Hills whilst Koala spotting on some of the back roads, before travelling through the South Eastern suburbs arriving back in Adelaide by 5.15 pm.
