This tour starts in Launceston and finishes in Hobart approx 5pm the next day with an option to return to Launceston if needed - 2 Days (1 nights private campsites with cabins)

Starting from Launceston we make our way to the Bay of Fires to explore stunning scenery. A morning is reserved for exploring Freycinet Peninsula’s walks, where we can climb up through the Hazards to view magical Wineglass Bay
Each day we participate in bush walks from 1 - 3 hours and travel by mini van or four-wheel-drive. We have private camps and make delicious meals and dine by the campfire. The cabins have great views and are set in bushland to allow us to appreciate Tasmania’s unique wildlife. Shared toilet and showers facilities

Day 1 (L, D) Launceston to Freycinet via Bay of Fires
Leave Launceston approx 7.30 am for the Bay of Fires to explore the rich cultural heritage of the traditional owners in a tranquil setting and some amazing waterfalls set among relic cool temperate rainforest. In the afternoon walk on pristine beaches at the Bay of Fires before we drive on-wards to the Freycinet Peninsula

Day 2 (B, L,D) Freycinet Peninsula to Hobart or Launceston
The morning we wake up to magnificent views over Great Oyster Bay, after breakfast it is time to explore the stunning Freycinet NP with a walk to the Wineglass Bay lookout with the possibility of going down to the bay if time allows. After lunch will drive down the scenic east coast on dazzling blue waters and white sands exploring coastal towns and beaches along the way
Kate’s Berry farm is a popular stop for those wanting to sample local produce
The tour concludes in Hobart about 5pm with the option of returning to Launceston if needed

Day 2 (B, L,D) Freycinet peninsula – Private Safari Camp
We will drive down the scenic east coast on dazzling blue waters and white sands exploring coastal towns and beaches along the way. In the evening take in the stunning views from our campsite before enjoying dinner around the campfire.

Day 3 (B, L, D) East Coast to Launceston
As we are camped right on the edge of Freycinet National Park it's only a short car journey for a memorable day walks with outstanding views as we experience the Wineglass Bay - Hazards beach loop walk and enjoy a great lunch on the beach before completing the loop track. A transfer back to Launceston via Campbell Town will complete your adventure

Day 1 (L,D) Launceston to Corinna via Cradle Mountain
We make our way towards Cradle Valley and from there a short drive to Cradle Mountain where we can enjoy a range of walks. These can be tailored to meet the needs of the group but can range from a 2 hour classic Dove Lake circuit to walks of 4 to 5 hours in length. After exploring we drive further west over the plateau and into the Tarkine region. Once at camp we get the fire going and relax as your guide will prepare a wholesome, hearty meal. Watch the stars and see if any of the local wildlife can bee seen from camp
Day 2 (B,L,D) Tarkine
Waking up near the Pieman river we have many choices to explore the area. They can be a series of shorter walks or a excellent full day option that leaves camp for seldom used tracks through the ancient forest. A lunch break at the edge of a river will refresh us for the afternoon walk up Mt Donaldson for spectacular views from the mountain to the coast
Day 3 (B,L) Tarkine to Launceston
An early morning paddle on the serene Pieman river is a highlight of the trip. just a 2 minute walk from camp to paddle on rainforest cloaked, serene waters. The return journey is up to 2.5 hours depending on the direction we choose
In the afternoon we will make our way back to Launceston to arrive about 5pm

Day 1 (L,D) Mt Field Visit Mount Field National Park - Highland Camp
Enjoy a choice of hikes in the Mount Field National Park, Lady Barron Falls, Russell Falls and Horseshoe Falls or roam in the highlands around Lake Dobson (+3hr walk) Time permitting head to The Styx Valley, home to some of Australia's tallest trees. Drive to our camp in near Lake St Clair. Evening walks in searching for platypus and exploring a ever changing mix of forest
Day 2 (B,L,D) Lake St Clair - Tarkine
We drive west through Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park stop to look out into the Wilderness World Heritage area from Donaghy’s Lookout. We head to the west coast for some remarkable beaches or short but spectacular hikes. We make our way a little further north to the enchanting Tarkine, the largest cool temperate rainforest in the southern hemisphere
Day 3 (B,L,D) Tarkine rainforests and rivers
Waking up close to the Pieman River we are well placed to explore this ancient ecosystem that is a snapshot of Gondwana land as it once was. A paddle on the river in the evening or next morning is a special experience. A range of short to medium length walks through this spectacular region are available. We stay in the same camp tonight
Day 4 (B,L,D) Tarkine - Cradle Mountain
More walks or an early morning paddle on the serene Pieman river round off our Tarkine experience before we head to Cradle Mountain. We will set up camp and then explore the many wonders of one of Australia most famous national parks. There are many choices of walks to cater for all fitness levels and weather conditions
Day 5 (B,L) Cradle Mountain - Launceston
Today is an opportunity to do more fantastic walks in the park before making our way back to Launceston. It is an option to conclude your tour here and stay in Cradle to make the most of this spectacular region and we can assist you with making other transport arrangements

The afternoon offers some of the famous white sand beaches. Tonight we stay in a private bush camp on the edge of the Bay of Fires
Day 2 (B,L,D) Freycinet Peninsula – Cabin Camp
We will drive down the scenic east coast on dazzling turquoise waters and white sands exploring as we go. We move to a camp with stunning bay views for our next 2 nights

Day 3 (B,L,D) freycinet Peninsula – Cabin Camp
As we are camped right on the edge of Freycinet National Park it's only a short car journey for a memorable day walks with outstanding views as we experience the Wineglass Bay - Hazards beach loop and enjoy a healthy lunch on the beach before completing the loop track. In the evening enjoy the spectacular views from our campsite before we dine by the fire.
Day 4 (B,L,D) Freycinet peninsula to Tasman peninsula - Safari Camp
With an early start, we will enjoy the scenic drive down the East Coast and make our way to the Tasman Peninsula, home to towering sea cliffs, secluded bays and an abundant sea life. A walk to one of the many stunning capes in the region before our last camp at Eagle Hawk Neck
DAY 5 (B,L) Tasman Peninsula to Hobart (Concludes approx 5pm)
For the adventurous, we have partnered with local operators to offer a sea cruise with a difference. The small group tour will showcase the dramatic sea scape of the peninsula and the marine inhabitants. If the conditions are right you may get close to the local seal colony on a unique floating platform, an amazing experience.
An alternate option is the Mt Brown / Remarkable cave walks that takes you up close the unique geology of the area finishing with a stunning vista over Maningon Bay. After the morning activities, we check out some impressive geology attractions before we make our way back to Hobart
It is possible to conclude your tour at Port Arthur if you wish to spend more time to explore the World Heritage listed site
