Animal Encounter Cradle Mountain

Day 1.
Prepare to be blown away by the wonders of Dove Lake, the Enchanted Forest, and the King Billy Pine walks. These ancient and remarkable trails will have you walking amongst 4,000-year-old trees. Keep your eyes peeled for the abundant native wildlife, including the elusive Tasmanian Devil, Wombats, Spotted Quolls, Wallabies, and more. Lunch on the day is your choice with stops along the journey where you can grab food and stock up.
Wander through ancient rainforests, experience cascading waterfalls, and meander along pristine rivers and lakes. Choose from a selection of stunning short walks, each offering its enchanting vistas and experiences. Whether you opt for the tranquillity of the Enchanted Walk, the iconic beauty of Dove Lake, the lush serenity of the Rainforest Walk, or the historical intrigue of The Weindorfers Forest Walk, there's a trail to suit every level of comfort and fitness.
Your accommodation for the night will be at Gowrie Park where dinner will be included. Enjoy a laid-back BBQ-style dinner that's perfect for sharing stories and laughter with your new and old friends. Spend the rest of the evening perched by the campfire with toasted marshmallows for dessert. Day 2.
Journey through the charming town of Sheffield, known as the 'Town of Murals,' where over 30 vibrant artworks adorn the streets, depicting the rich history of the area. Next Ross, providing the perfect opportunity to recharge with some lunch before continuing our journey back to Hobart.
Drop off around 3 pm.
