Wine & Vineyard Coonawarra

We begin at midday at Parkers and trace the Coonawarra legends to Balnaves where a baguette picnic (including a glass of your favourite Balnaves wine) by the lake and ducks is laid out. Then its off to Katnook and Majella. We break for some wine and chocolate pairings at Penley Estate and finish at the magnificent Rymills. Changes to schedule can be discussed on the day. Pickup and delivery to your accommodation in Penola or Coonawarra is included.

Glamping
tents in winter are an experience you will never forget. You will be warm and snug in your 5m canvas yurt, with electric blankets, blow heater and hot water bottles . Each tent sleeps 4 with a king bed and 2 singles. Your own fire and outdoor setting are standard. Arrive anytime up until late and sleep in the
next morning or take our wonderful private bushwalking track. At 12.00 we shuttle you to Chardonnay Lodge for a matched cheeses and wine tasting.
Following our map and with your VIP pass you then stroll through the adjoining vineyards to Digiorgios and Zemas. You can now enjoy a meal at Fodder or the
Coonawarra General Store. Next, it’s off to the iconic Wynns, Brand’s Laira and finally Redmans, where we arrive at 5.00pm to bring you and your wines home
safely. Walking distance - 2km. Cook a BBQ in the camp kitchen or treat yourself to a dinner at Pipers or Hollicks. Relax afterwards in front of your fire with a glass of fabulous red wine, then settle in for your last night in the yurt – now you can tick glamping off your bucket list!

This 4 hour wine-focussed package teaches you better matching of food and wine. Your host is a wine industry professional who will illuminate the magic behind the perfect wine for every meal and every flavour. You will take away the basic rules that will impress your friends and bring you many years of enhanced wine experiences.

You get to choose your favourite Coonawarra winery with this tour - then we take you backstage and show you everything you ever wanted to know about the brand - facts and flavours to surprise and entertain you. Meet with the senior winemakers and go behind the scenes to see how these Cabernet world players create the brilliant wines that make Coonawarra what it is.

This tour starts at 10am and takes you literally into the workings of wineries. You will walk among the tanks and feel the cool oak of the barrels. You will visit 8 wineries and enjoy lunch at Hollicks. We will show you the workings of a large winery as well as trying the wines of some lesser known Coonawarra artisans. Changes to schedule can be discussed on the day.
