DAY4:
Pickup from accommodation after breakfast, Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, where you will have a guided tour of the lighthouse followed by a grounds walk around with our guide. Tour Mammoth Cave self-guided, large limestone cave, it lies within the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and is surrounded by karri and marri forest where they have been extinct animal fossils found. Prevelly Beach, where you can see the
wild ocean meeting the rocky shore - the perfect photo opportunity and lunch at the White Elephant Café. Close encounters at Eagles Heritage will provide you with the unique opportunity to meet and interact with birds of prey, including eagles, hawks, falcons and owls. One of the wineries we will stop at on day two of our tour is McHenry Hohnen, a place that focuses on sustainability, and creating ‘wines of purity and place.’ They use biodynamic farming and minimal intervention winemaking methods to create the most high-quality wines, while respecting the surrounding environment and prioritising natural processes. On our visit, we will enjoy tastings of their lovely single-vineyard wines with minimal intervention.
Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse:

On day three of our Margaret River tour from Perth, we will head down to Augusta to see Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse.
This historic building is the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia and is situated on the most south-westerly tip of the country. From this viewpoint, you can actually see where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet. We will take a trip through maritime history with a walk around the historic village at the foot of the lighthouse, and finish with a guided tour of the lighthouse - the stunning panoramic views of the coast from the balcony are worth the climb.
