You can try scuba close to home or while you’re on vacation at a dive destination. While not a scuba certification
course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.
Please NOTE that you can not fly within 24hrs of Diving.

as a Marine Reserve it is home to a wide variety of marine life and breeding
seabirds. The Green Sea Turtle are commonly seen in this area. Cook Island
provides a great opportunity to visit a protected area and witness why so many
love this special place. Situated only 15 minutes from Tweed Heads, opposite Fingal Heads you

will enjoy the beautiful coastline during the journey to the island and back. Enjoy the comfort of our vessel “Ocean Adventurer’ where you can

enjoy some refreshments once back on the boat.

Located just north of the Tangalooma Island Resort are the Tangalooma Wrecks, a cluster of ships scuttled by the Queensland Government between 1963 and 1984 to provide safe anchorage spot for recreational boat owners on the eastern side of Moreton Bay.
Coral is now starting to form in and around the wrecks, providing a haven for over 100 species of fish and sometimes even dolphins, wobbegongs and dugongs
This is a family day snorkelling activity, with the option to do extras for a small fee,
Optional Scuba diving, Stand up Paddle and Kayaking.

OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE
If you have a passion for the water, the sea and all the underwater world this is the course you need to take as the adventure starts you will discover the magic beneath the waves.
This is one of the most popular courses recognized worldwide, get your certification recognized anywhere in the world. To enrol into an Open Water Course you must be 12 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

What you will learn?
The Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

ADVANCE OPEN WATER COURSE
New Adventures, Experiences, Discoveries

This is all the thrill that Advance Open Water is going to give you, is not necessary for you to be advance open water,
but as you have achieved the Open Water Certification this is the course that will allow you to expand, advance your knowledge and skills through different Adventure Dives.

You will try out different specialties while gaining experience under the supervision of your Instructor. You log dives and developed new skills as you find new ways to enjoy, have fun scuba diving. What you will learn?


Advance Open Water Diver course
You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and
Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives.
During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.
When can I start this course?
You can start to learn about seven of the most popular Adventures Dives – including the required Deep and Underwater Navigation Adventure Dives, plus Boat, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Naturalist and Wreck Adventure Dives. You study at your own pace
through an easy to use, interactive program. Or you can choose when you would like to finish, other Adventure Dives as directed by your Instructor. Follow Next steps

Please NOTE; A license can not be issue to a persons under 16 years of age, however you can complete your training with us at 15
years and 6 months, , then submit your competencies to Queensland Transport on or after your 16th birthday( Competencies expire after 6 months). Note; You MUST hold a recreational boat license iN order to obtain your Jet Ski License
