Double Kayak Rental in Brunswick River

The Brunswick River is one of the prettiest and safest rivers to explore in New South Wales. from our riverside location you can take advantage of grabbing on of our kayak stock and getting out and enjoying Mother Nature by Kayak.


Our Kayak Hire is a "Self Service" collect and go set up. Nice and easy and allowing you to escape at a time that suits you for your paddling adventures. Our facility is unstaffed for rentals and we have a automated system for you to collect and go explore.
You access your kayaks through our storage at the Brunswick Heads Scout Hall, enjoy your paddle then simply leave the kayaks back in storage and your done.
Simply book in and we will give you instructions on how to access you kayak.

Please note: YOU must be able to swim 25mtrs to make this booking.
Children must nr 8 years or older for Hire and must be supervised by an adult.
Kayaking is not permitted in the Main Channel of the river by hirers, only Simpsons Creek
Please do not book hire if you are a NON - SWIMMER
All participants must wear a correctly secured lifejacket whilst using the hire kayaks.

The Brunswick River is one of the most beautiful river systems in New South Wales. We run our tours on high tide when the waters create a crystal clean and calm oasis for kayaking in.
Kayak along peaceful waters where the only interruption will be from local sea birds and wildlife calling out as you cruise by. This kayak tour is a gentle paced adventure. Take the time out the breath in the clean salty air and paddle past sand dunes that separate the river from the beach whilst taking in the stunning coastal scenery.
Your trip is guided by local nature enthusiasts who will lead you along and point out local features of the environment.
We will stop, chill out and have a look at the fascinating marine life along the river bank. Take a break on the river bank for a swim before winding up your tour and heading back to the real world.
This tour last about 2 to 2.5hours. We meet for the tour at The Brunswick Heads Scout Hall on South Beach Rd in Brunswick Heads. This is a leisurely tour.
Children can come that are 3 years old and over. We run this tour at different times each day so we can best pick the tides and go when the water is at its clearest.

Your Tour Program:
Your Byron Bay Sea Kayak Tour will start at our beautiful trailer on the Beach front in Byron Bay where you'll meet all your fellow paddlers, pair up on the 2 person kayaks and learn the basics of paddling a sit-on-top kayak.
Then we'll hit the ocean where you can impress your friends (and yourself) getting out past the shore break. Once out on the water you'll learn about local Aboriginal stories and sacred places, paddle along surfing mecca "The Pass", Wategos millionaire row, and Australia's most Easterly point Cape Byron.

Take in the views of our stunning coastline. Byron Bay is truly one of the most naturally beautiful places on the East Coast of Australia. Gaze upwards to our Cape Byron Lighthouse, almost 120 years old now in all her majestic glory overlooking the Bay.
