1 Hour - Horse Riding Tour - Farm Experience

If you are looking for a bit more practice, why not try our Introduction to Trail Riding session instead which includes a 30 minute lesson as well as a trail ride.
**Please note: Proceed to our group bookings for a discount price for 4 or more people, please note that this is a public group ride and may be a walk only ride depending on lowest competencies. It is at the instructor’s discretion to assess and advise if the booking holder is in fact competent enough to perform the stated riding level. You should be a minimum of 7 years and older to participate in this tour. For children under this age, we offer Learn to Ride sessions, Pony Rides and Private Tours. THINGS TO NOTE:
1. Wear long pants and covered shoes such as runners/sneakers or boots. Inappropriate clothing will result in forfeit of the session.
2. We can provide helmets (limited sizes available). Wearing a current Australian standard safety horse riding helmet is compulsory. If you require a customised helmet for any reason, you will need to advise Woodlands if anything can be arranged, otherwise you will have to provide this yourself. Not being able to wearing a helmet will result in forfeit of the session.
3. Arrival time is 9am or 2pm for check-in to ensure all documents have been signed, trail group will be collected shortly after for briefing and mounting. Dismount time is also included in session time. Latecomers of more than 15 minutes will result in forfeit of the session. There may sometimes be additional session times arranged at a different time, refer to booking time for arrival. If these times don't suit, please review the beginner Introduction to Trail Riding and Private Trails, all sessions are live on our website.
4. Horses and ponies are allocated based on availability, experience, height and weight. Any special requests may not be guaranteed for safety of the session.
5. Instructors will take photos and/or videos and can be downloaded via a link emailed to you automatically after each session within 48 hours. Lockers will be available, otherwise leave your belongings in your vehicle as no loose items or phones will be allowed in pockets during the tour.
6. No spectators will be allowed to enter the riding area. There is no pedestrian walking trail on our private farm property. We offer pony rides for younger children and private NDIS covered equine assisted sessions if the participant requires a support worker or guardian present.
7. Please note our maximum weight limit at time of booking as this may change depending on horse availability. We hold a duty of care to the, health, well-being and safety of both horse and horse activity participant. We do have limited horses that can carry up to 95kg, please enquire with your exact weight and date preferred for availability. There is no guarantee of availability.
8. Please read clearly our Terms and Conditions and ensure details are accurately provided.



**IMPORTANT: For bookings with less than a day notice or same day bookings, please call ahead to confirm availability (Office Hours: Wednesday-Sunday 8:30am-5:00pm). No guarantee of availability if no advance bookings have been made, as bookings normally require more than 24 hours notice so that we can arrange suitable horses and sufficient staffing. Public holiday surcharges apply.

Introduction to Trail Riding - Arena and Farm Experience

Perfect for the complete Beginner rider! Perfect for the complete Beginner rider for groups of 4 or more! The Introduction to Trail Riding, combines an approximate 20-30 minute riding lesson, followed by a 45-60 minute trail ride at Woodlands Lodge stables and farm (riding time may be shorter depending on size of your group and accounting for mounting/dismounting and photo time). You'll be riding across the lodge farm land, where you can experience the serenity of being amid animals and nature, whilst enjoying the scenic city views! A truly nurturing experience! Please note that groups can be up to 15 participants and this is a BEGINNER ride which will only be conducted at a walk.
