Kayak Discovery - Shortened 2 Hr Tour
A tour designed for all generations, including the youngest explorers!
A light taste of kayaking for the youngest family members or 3 generation groups. The Family Discovery tour is designed to cater to those kayaking for the first time. Never straying too far from the shore, this trip won't cross the lake to explore the mirror creek but it does follow a shoreline with multiple beaches for breaks, and is never far from home for the paddle back.
Your guide will fit you and the family into the kayak which best suits the group, we can have children on parents laps, or in the front and center hatch of our stable double sea kayaks. The guides are also able to take a double kayak with a child in the front. And remember that we take family photos for you along the way which you'll receive FREE after the tour!

Kayak Classic (3hr)
Enjoy 3 hours of gentle exercise and an unbeatable panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. Cruise along a narrow estuary amidst the lush ancient rainforest of the Okarito Kiwi Sanctuary, all to the sound of native birdsong. A unique and unbeatable kayak experience!
