Malta has been a crossroads of civilizations and peoples over the centuries, with different denominations and cultures that have alternated on the island, Romans and Phoenicians, Arabs, Spaniards and Normans, British ... This difference is also reflected in the architecture and style of its ancient noble palaces. During the tour you will be able to discover splendid examples of medieval architecture, palaces adorned with Baroque decorations, noble residences and wonderful gardens.
Meet your private guide outside the cruise terminal in Valletta or in the lobby of your hotel and head towards the town of Rabat and Mdina .
The tour starts with a walking tour in Mdina called “The Noble City” for its charm and the numerous noble palaces of the Maltese aristocratic families living there. The first stop is at Palazzo Falson. This palace is the second oldest surviving building in Mdina, dating back to the 13th century. It is a typical mediaeval Palace built to Sicilian examples of its period, consisting of several rooms surrounding an internal courtyard, and an overlying piano-nobile. A collection of antiques of the last owner is also available to visitors.
Proceed then to Palazzo De Piro, a 17th Century Palazzo nestled in the bastion walls of the medieval city of Mdina. The Palace is now divided into 3 parts, a museum and a bistro with a panoramic terrace from which to admire a breathtaking view of the entire island. Stop for a tea or coffee, to enjoy spectacular views.
After, move to the town of Attard, and visit the gardens of San Anton,the most beautiful botanical garden on the island which houses a chapel built by the Knights of St. John and external visit of the nearby Presidential Palace. In the same city, stop in St. Anthony's street, one of the most beautiful in Malta to admire the neoclassical villas that adorn the street.
Our last stop is in Naxxar, to visit Palazzo Parisio, described as the Maltese Versailles for the beauty of its walled gardens. Palazzo Parisio is a wonderful example of baroque architecture,embellished by magnificent marble,paintings, mirrored walls and extravagant decors.
The Palace now hosts a restaurant, a tea room and is often used as a unique venue for events. End of our tour and return to the hotel

Overview :

Explore the wonders of Gozo, Malta's sister island, on this magnificent private tour. Meet your guide at your hotel and head to the Cirkewwa Terminal, where you'll catch the ferry boat and cross the 4-kilometer channel that divides Malta from Gozo. Immediately after arriving to Gozo, feel the difference between this island and Malta, despite the common history and the relative small geographical distance. Gozo appears immediately more rural, less developed, and greener than Malta, giving the impression that time has stopped still.
From the port of Mgarr, travel to the Ġgantija Megalithic Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Travel to the northern region of the island, stopping at the Calypso Cave and at the ancient Roman's salt pans of Qbajjar. Visit the scenic Bay of Dwejra and its stunning inland sea. Take a short break at Ta' Dbiegi Crafts Village and stop for lunch at picturesque Xlendi Bay, not far from the island's main town of Victoria.
Take a walking tour of Victoria, exploring its charming narrow streets, markets, and shops. Head to the Citadel of Gozo, a medieval fortress overlooking the entire island. Marvel at the stunning views of the countryside and the surrounding villages before you catch the ferry back to Malta.

Join a walking tour to explore historical landmarks such as St. John's Cathedral, Auberge de Castille, Grandmaster's Palace, and more. Admire breathtaking views and taste local street food before ending with a Maltese lunch in an atmospheric restaurant in the center of Valletta.
Start the tour in the historic center of Valletta, with a visit to the Barrakka Gardens.


Enjoy breathtaking views of the Grand Harbor. Then, stop at the Auberge de Castille, the old building that housed the knights coming from Spain which is now the residence of the Prime Minister.
Be led by your guide through the center’s most characteristic streets like Republic and Merchant Street before arriving in front of St. John's Cathedral.


Discover Caravaggio's masterpieces such as The Beheading of St. John the Baptist. Enter the Co-Cathedral to marvel at exuberant Maltese Baroque style.
Next, make a stop at an ancient cafe in the city center for a tasting of the local street food, qassata and the famous pastizzi (puff pastry stuffed with cheese or a curried pea mash.) Try a typical food that is simply called "Malta", accompanied by Malta's national drink, Kinnie.
Then, head towards the Grandmaster's Palace, a majestic complex that now houses the Maltese Parliament. See its rooms adorned with Baroque decorations and ancient tapestries. In case of Parliament reunion, the tour is carried out externally and replaced with Casa Rocca Piccola, a noble palace from the 16th century.


At the end of the walking tour, treat yourself to a traditional Maltese lunch. Visit a restaurant located in a typical bakery, combining traditional Maltese cuisine, history, memorabilia in a relaxed environment right in the center of Valletta.
