Join us for an authentic and immersive experience of the breathtaking Motu that is Waiheke Island. Our tour includes a visit to three of the best vineyards on the island for delicious tastings, along with stunning scenery and informative commentary. For lunch, we will take you to the beautiful award-winning 372 beachfront restaurant in Onetangi, awarded one Hat in the latest Cuisine Good Food Awards. Enjoy a mouth-watering lunch with a glass of wine. Our tour ends with a safe return to the Matiatia wharf at approximately 3:45 pm.

Your wine-tasting itinerary:

• 10:00 AM - Depart from Auckland via ferry to Waiheke Island.

• 10:40 AM - Upon arrival at Matiatia Wharf on Waiheke Island, your tour guide will meet you with a signboard.

• 11:00 AM - Visit the cellar door of Cable Bay Vineyards. Here, you can explore a variety of hand-picked and harvested award-winning wines produced on Waiheke Island and Marlborough.

• 12:00 PM - Enjoy lunch with a glass of wine at the award-winning beachside restaurant, 372!

• 2:00 PM - Experience a wine tasting at Postage Stamp, or Soho Estate Waiheke both totally rustic and upbeat vineyards.

• 3:00 PM - Visit Stonyridge Vineyard, nestled in a shimmering valley of olive trees and colorful vines. Here, you can enjoy wine tasting and the aromas of the south of France.

• 4:00 PM - Depart Waiheke Island via Fullers sailing to Auckland Downtown Ferry Terminal.

Take it easy with our afternoon tour! Relax and enjoy the 12 PM ferry without the morning tour crowds. This experience is designed for those who appreciate a leisurely pace during our "Lazy, Hazy Afternoon Wine Affair."  

Indulge in a captivating day with our all-inclusive package for just $260 per person. Delight your senses as you embark on a journey featuring exquisite wine tastings with a carefully curated selection of the region's finest local offerings. As part of your adventure, you’ll be guided through the island's breathtaking landscapes, where stunning views and hidden gems await discovery. • 11:00 AM – Depart from Auckland via ferry to Waiheke Island (not included).
• 11:45 AM – Upon arrival at Matiatia Wharf on Waiheke Island, your tour guide will meet you with a signboard.
• 12:00 PM – Ki Maha (translates to towards perfection) Lunch at the most beautiful and sophisticated restaurant on Waiheke Island with an incredible view of Onetangi Beach.
• 145 PM – Wine tasting at Batch Winery, Waiheke’s highest vineyard offering outstanding wines and great views to match.
• 245 PM – Postage Stamp or Soho Wines for beautiful boutique wine tastings at the winery, known for its small, artisanal vineyards, often using classical and unexpected grape varieties like Syrah, Tempranillo, and Marsanne-Roussanne to produce wines with exceptional flavour and distinct character. 
• 4pm Wine tasting at Mudbrick Vineyard, an idyllic setting with spectacular sea views out across the Waitemata Harbour to Auckland city.
• 5:00 PM – The tour has concluded, and you have two options: you can either catch the ferry back, which we will take you to, or stay on the island to explore Oneroa Village. The tour guide can drop you off in the village, allowing you to enjoy its attractions at your leisure. Ferries run every half hour or hour during the summer months.

Your Waiheke Deluxe experience starts as soon as you board your Fullers ferry for a scenic cruise across the sparkling Hauraki Gulf to Waiheke Island. On arrival, we’ll be waiting for you on the quayside, before we transfer you to EcoZip HQ, perched high on a hillside overlooking the island’s myriad coves, pretty bays and vineyards.

Accompanied by our expert guides, you’ll fly through the air on our giant flying-fox ziplines, before undertaking a magical guided walk through a lush expanse of centuries-old native NZ forest.

Waiheke is famous for its food, wine, beaches and stunning views.  After an exciting morning ziplining, our friends at Waiheke Wine Tours will collect you for a scenic exploration of Waiheke, introducing you to some of the island’s most famous, and most charming, vineyards.

Your first stop will be Casita Miro, a Mediterranean-inspired vineyard, famed for its art and architecture as well as its food and Spanish cuisine. One of Casita Miro’s enthusiastic sommeliers will lead you on a viticultural journey of discovery as they demonstrate how their inspired food parings bring a new dimension to Miro Vineyard’s delicate wines.

Exclusive to this tour, your next stop is at the Waihekeana store in Onetangi, where you can taste Waiheke honey and olive oils while browsing locally made arts, craft and jewellery.

A stone’s throw from Onetangi is beautiful Stonyridge Vineyard. Award-winning Stonyridge enjoys global acclaim for its spectacular Bordeaux-style wines and their signature Larosse can command a price of thousands of dollars per bottle.   Beneath the shading vines of the Veranda Café you’ll taste a selection of Stonyridge wines while enjoying an ample patter-style lunch.

Join us for a Sunset Wine & Dine Tour, where you will indulge in wine tasting amidst the picturesque vineyards of the Onetangi Valley. And that’s not all – you will also be treated to a gourmet 2-course dinner while taking in the mesmerising views of the glittering Auckland skyline.

Escape the ordinary with a private evening adventure across Waiheke’s acclaimed wine region. As Auckland’s skyline begins to twinkle in the distance, you’ll be savouring premium wines and indulging in gourmet cuisine in some of the island’s most spectacular settings.
Starting at Batch Winery, the highest vineyard on the Island, enjoy 360-degree views of the Hauraki Gulf, Auckland and the Coromandel Peninsula. Tasting small batch boutique wines. Then move on to the small boutique vineyard of Postage Stamp Wines with wines from Obsidian Wines included in the flight. Join our Sommiler for guided tastings on these beautiful handcrafted wines.

At 6 PM, indulge in a two-course dinner at either Mudbrick’s iconic Vineyard, The Archive or Ki Maha, an award winning restaurant right on across from Onetangi Beach. After dinner your guide will drop you back to Matiatia ferry terminal in time for the 8 PM ferry back to Auckland.– We will drop you off at the Matiatia ferry terminal in time for the 8 PM ferry.

Waiheke Island is renowned for its wine, with over 25 premium wineries and cellar doors to discover, offering a wide variety of wines to taste. Due to the limited area, wine production is done on a truly boutique scale, making these wines unique and not easily found worldwide.

Your day will begin at either the Matiatia ferry terminal or your Waiheke accommodation. During this exclusive journey, you will visit three of Waiheke’s top vineyards and sample a diverse selection of wines. An experienced local guide will lead the tour and provide insight into the culture and history of Waiheke Island.

The wine tasting experience includes a two-course lunch with a glass of wine at one of the iconic Waiheke venues. You have the option of enjoying premium tasting experiences at three exclusive vineyards, or you may choose to substitute one vineyard visit with a tasting of beer, gin, whisky, or olive oil.

After the tour, your Waiheke Wine Tours guide will take you back to the Matiatia ferry terminal. Alternatively, you can hop off at Oneroa village to spend more time on the island, enjoying an early dinner or some drinks before catching a later ferry.
