Half Day 4WD Daintree Tour

Start your day at Cape Tribulation with complementary pick-up from the Daintree Region at or Cape Tribulation. Start off by experiencing the breathtaking gigantic 500-year-old Fig Tree. Your 4WD will cross the cool, clear waters of Emmagen Creek, pretty as a postcard. Then we get onto the iconic Bloomfield Track, a 4WD mecca steeped in controversial conservation history connecting Cape Tribulation to the Indigenous township of Wujal Wujal. The Bloomfield Track is rated as one of Queensland’s most scenic 4WD short road trips – a bucket-list drive for both local and international enthusiasts. Flanked by pristine coastline on one side and ancient rainforest on the other, this track to Cooktown is a feast for the eyes.
Experience the captivating natural beauty of Australia's Top End through the eyes of our visionary artists. We then walk through the Daintree Rainforest to the secluded Cowie Beach and see the the armies of soldier cabs, red mangrove and fringing coral reef. Now we are off to the Bana Yirriji is a centre for artists in a rainforest, who create contemporary artworks inspired by their traditional culture and landscape; telling stories that explore relationships between land, country and people.
Wujal Wujal is a remote region in Far North Queensland sacred to the Kuku-Yalanji people. The area is home to ancient coastal rainforests, stoney Black Mountains and intricate Mangroves providing habitat for many forms of marine life that have evolved over thousands of years alongside the Aboriginal people. Travel alongside the winding Bloomfield River, ending at the base of the beautiful Bloomfield Falls; also known as Wujal Wujal Falls or "Roaring Meg". Returning via a short 400m walking track. Learn about the amazing natural features of this World Heritage area through the eyes of the Kuku Yalanji traditional owners who have lived here for tens of thousands of years. Your local guide will share some of his knowledge about this special place which is of great cultural significance to the Yalanji people. We will journey south towards the Daintree and Cape Tribulation via the Bloomfield Track. Arriving at Cape Tribulation at 12:30pm/5:30pm and the surrounding Daintree Region 1:00pm/6:00pm. 14 -Day 4WD Cape York Tour
Day 1. Arrival in Cairns – Daintree Rainforest
Travel north along the Great Barrier Reef Drive towards the Daintree Rainforest. Visit Alexandra Range Lookout, the Daintree Ice Cream Factory. Continue to Cape Tribulation and take part in a guided night walk to experience the forest come alive after dark.

Journey along the Bloomfield Track, one of Australia’s most iconic 4WD routes. Stop at Wujal Wujal Falls, enjoy a drink at the historic Lions Den Hotel and take part in an Indigenous experience with Mooks. Explore Cooktown’s Botanical Gardens and take in the sunset from Grassy Hill Lookout before dinner.

Depart Iron Range with a morning of birdwatching or a short waterfall walk. Continue North, visiting Telegraph Station and crossing the Wenlock River. Arrive at Bramwell Station for a hearty meal and an evening of entertainment at this classic Cape York stopover.

Travel north exploring parts of the Old Telegraph Track. Stop at Fruit Bat Falls and, if road conditions allow, Elliot Falls. Cross the Jardine River and visit the famous Croc Tent before reaching the northernmost point of mainland Australia – “The Tip.”

Enjoy the changing landscapes from lush rainforest to rugged outback as you arrive in the mining town of Weipa for the evening.
