Maggie Beer's Farm Cooking School

Join Maggie Beer's Farm team for a hands on cooking experience in the Barossa Valley, South Australia.
On your arrival, you will enjoy a palate starter accompanied by Maggie's non-alcoholic Sparkling Ruby Cabernet.



During the session, we will share the joy of make fresh pasta at home, paired with fresh produce from our market garden and Maggie Beer Products such as Verjuice and Sugo.


This is a fun experience for all ages, that will allow you to enjoy the cooking that you have prepared with a refreshment.

The Indulgent Maggie Beer's Farm Shop Experience with Lunch at The Eatery Private

This is the most indulgent experience at Maggie Beer's Farm Shop, where you will enjoy an Interactive Cooking Demonstration, Pheasant Farm Wine Tasting and a delicious, seasonal lunch at The Farm Eatery. The cooking demonstration will be held in the studio kitchen of 'The Cook and the Chef'


You will take part in our seasonal cooking demonstration using fresh produce and products from Maggie's exclusive range - and a chance to taste food that has been prepared during the session together. Spend time with friends and family, with the chance to have your photograph taken in the studio kitchen - and be part of this intimate, small group experience.
You will be provided with hints and tips to use Maggie's range at home, with easy to follow recipes. Our Farm Shop team will host you in our tasting room for a guided experience of our Pheasant Farm Wines or Maggie's Orchard Gin.
The demonstration will run for approximately 45 minutes, and the total experience with lunch will be approximately 2.5 hours.

A seasonal long lunch cooking school at Maggie Beer's Farm

Sharing food, with friends and family is a passion of Maggie’s that has inspired her cooking over the years, utilising fresh seasonal ingredients in the garden to bring flavour and colour to dishes. The Cooking School is a hands-on class where you will be guided through a journey of home cooking, with hints and tips to help you bring exciting dishes to your table at home.
In this intimate class of just 10 guests, you will learn how to cook seasonal dishes from Maggie’s Recipe books led by Maggie’s team at the Farm.
This cooking school will have you learning about the menu through a demonstration, before putting on your apron to cook the dishes yourselves which you will then share at the long table lunch with the other participants, you can hear all about how Maggie and Colin started the Pheasant Farm, the evolution of property and the history of The Cook and the Chef.
As Maggie is a cook herself, and she prides herself on bringing dishes to the table that showcase in-season ingredients, with easy-to-follow recipes and has trained Each of the team who deliver the cooking school how to create a menu that is sure to impress your guests at home at your next long lunch.
This cooking schools is the beginning of a fun day out in the Barossa Valley.
