In this tour you will embark on an exciting trip down the Channel & Huon Valley, to the small town of Kettering where we will board a car ferry to the famous Bruny Island. Once we’re there, we will head down to Cape Bruny in the extreme far south of the Island to one of the southernmost lighthouses in Australia. Or we will embark on the fantastic and majestic Mavista Rainforest Walk at the base of Mt Mangana. We will then make our back up the Island to discover all of Bruny Islands fresh and extremely tasty produce, Wine, Cheese, Chocolate, Honey, Oysters and Whisky. If you prefer, we can also mix it up with some more awesome scenery and history, The Neck Lookout, Adventure Bay and Captains Blighs museum. In this tour, you will embark on a trip up the east coast of Tasmania to the Freycinet Peninsula. This is home to the famous Wineglass Bay & Coles Bay. You will walk up to the lookout where you can see both Wineglass Bay & Coles Bay in all their glory, we will then head for Cape Tourville Lighthouse which will give you jaw dropping views of the Hazards & Freycinet Peninsula. Then off to the tranquil Sleepy Bay with its pink sand and secluded location, only a short 15 minute walk. Before leaving the Peninsula we will visit the serene Honey Moon Bay where you can soak up the whole of Coles Bay and shear beauty of Freycinet Peninsula. On our way back way down the east coast to Hobart, we can visit either the Freycinet Marine Farm for a seafood feast OR we can visit the Pondering Frog Café for lunch & homemade ice cream. Or both if you prefer to mix it up, a truly awesome treat after our long days walking and sight seeing! You tour down to the scenic Tasman Peninsula where you will discover the geological locations of Eagle Hawk Neck including Pirates Bay Look Out, Tessellated Pavement, Tasmans Arch, Devils Kitchen and The Blow Hole. Available at your discretion, we can visit the Tasmanian Devil Unzoo with our unique Tasmanian Devil on display amongst other Aussie wildlife like the Tasmanian Kangaroo and native birds. Next the Port Arthur Lavender Farm is available for a visit with everything Lavender you can imagine. We will then move onto the main event, visiting the Port Arthur historic site where you can spend a few hours or more moving through the ruins with the onsite tour guides joining the included walking tour or at your own pace learning all the history and stories behind this fascinating place. In this tour, discover the oldest national park in Tasmania with its three tiered rainforest. You will start of by visiting the majestic three tiered Russell Falls while walking through lush rainforest. We will then continue on to Horseshoe Falls with its truly unique shape. After our rain forest adventure we will continue onto Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary where you will have a date with the Tasmanian Devil, feed the Kangaroos and have an opportunity to take a photo with a Koala. Next we move onto the historic town of Richmond, containing an award winning bakery and the oldest bridge in Australia built in 1823. Visit the most complete convict Gaol in Tasmania and see the how the convicts lived and how they were treated.
