In case bad weather cancels your tour you can still go another day. The Magic Dolphin Eco catamaran cruises in comfort and is suitable for all ages. On this 2.5hours cruise WE DO NOT STOP FOR SWIMMING! It is just for wild life watching.
We see cetaceans on almost every tour, but they are wild and free, so there is a small chance of no sightings.
We see dolphins more often than whales. We do offer our sightings guarantee, if on your tour there are no sightings you can go again for just €10 per person. If we must cancel a tour due to the sea conditions we will do our best to reschedule your tour. This is why we recommend making your reservations early in your visit to Madeira. Note: Please arrive to our office in Funchal Marina 30 minutes before departure . In respect to all of our guests the boat leaves on time. If you miss the boat, you will be not be issued a refund.

Our Catamaran Magic Dolphin Celebrity is 14m long and 7m wide. We enjoy taking limited passengers (25 pax) on board to ensure no crowds and the best dolphin and whale watching experience!

We will sail a few miles out of Funchal Bay heading for one of the tallest sea cliffs in the world - Cabo Girão. Along the way our team will keep a look out for all kinds of wildlife such as dolphins, whales, turtles and endemic birds. On this tour we spot cetaceans jumping and splashing nearly all of our trips. It's always a great sight that never gets old. Our certified guides will provide live commentary with useful information about our wildlife in Madeira.


Mid-way through the tour, we offer stunning close-up views of Cabo Girao which is only accessible by sea or lift.



On our way back, we sail close to the coast passing by points of interest such as fishing village Camara de Lobos and the famous Reid’s Hotel where Winston Churchill used to stay during his visits to Madeira Island. You will be able to sit back and take in the beautiful views of the south coast of Madeira Island.

Note: Please arrive to our office in Funchal Marina 30 minutes before departure . The Celebrity is booked for time periods. If your group is late arriving we may have to return at the scheduled time for other guests that have a reservation following yours.
