Walking Tours Akaroa

Over three days and three nights, you complete a 31 km journey that starts and finishes in picturesque Akaroa.
You will arrive in Akaroa on the evening before your first day walking the track. The date of your arrival/pick up in Akaroa is the date you select when making your booking.
Please arrive at Akaroa’s old post office (80 Rue Lavaud) by 5:30 pm on the date of your booking. Allow 30 minutes to park your car at the designated Banks Track carpark at Mt Vernon Lodge (33 Purple Peak Road) prior to pick up and return by foot to the pick-up location. After the orientation, we will take you to the first hut.
We will transfer your pack for you to each accommodation and to Akaroa on the last day, so you only have to carry a day pack.
Transport of 1 pack per person up to 15kg is included in your 3-Day Classic Walk booking, if you require extra items transported, they must be pre-booked and paid.
You will need a sleeping bag (pillows and pillow cases are provided) unless you add the optional Private Room to your booking .
