Start your adventure in the heart of the capital city before heading out to explore the boundaries of Wellington Harbour.
Your pilot will inform you of points of interest as you fly over the diverse, tectonic landscape that encompasses our city.
Wellington was shaped by a massive earthquake in 1855 and you can only see the full extent of these changes from above.
Take in views of Zealandia, Matiu/Somes Island and the Cook Strait which is the highway for the ferries that shuttle between the North and South Islands.
On returning to the city, glimpse famous landmarks such as our parliament building The Beehive TePapa, our national museum and the WellingtonStadium nicknamed the Cake Tin.

Explore what lies beyond the city with a spectacular flight over
Wellington’s pristine southern coastline.
Pass close by the majestic Makara Wind Farm where you will get a
fantastic view of the giant wind turbines, a remarkable example of modern
engineering and sustainable energy.
Next head south to the wild, dramatic coastline where numerous
seal colonies hug the rugged coastline as waves batter into the towering rocky cliffs.
Swing past Karori Rock Lighthouse, an enduring testament to the shipping
dangers of the Cook Strait, one of the world’s most notorious stretches of
water.
On a clear day you may be treated to views of the Marlborough
Sounds, the top of the South Island.
Returning to Wellington Harbour you will enjoy a great overview of
the capital city, the surrounding landscape and its impressive landmark
buildings.
