    ITINERARY

    Day 1 Perth – Kalbarri

After pick up from your hotel we are leaving Perth headed north along the coast towards Cervantes, the entrance to Nambung National Park. The Pinnacles are among the most visited natural wonders of the state. Thousands of limestone pillars rise out of a stark landscape of yellow sand. There is ample time to explore the area and to take some colourful photos from these amazing formations. These impressions of lights and colours will stay with you for many years to come. We head north along the coast via Jurien Bay and Leeman towards Geraldton, the sunniest town in W.A. Cruising along the coastal road we enter the Kalbarri National Park via Port Gregory. You can experience some of the most picturesque grazing land as well as the rough coastline. In the early evening we will arrive in the “laid back village” of Kalbarri.

Day 2 Kalbarri – Monkey Mia

After breakfast we farewell Kalbarri. We continue into the Kalbarri National Park with breathtaking views down to the Murchison Gorge. Depending upon the season, our drive through the Kalbarri National Park to the World Heritage area of Shark Bay will be escorted by the famous wildflowers. In the afternoon we arrive in Monkey Mia, home of the well-known dolphins. Nearly every day of the year they come to the shore to give you a unique experience that will never be forgotten. There is time for relaxing and swimming on this beautiful beach. Before dinner you will be taken on a catamaran cruise to experience the silent sensation of sailing and capture the five-star view of the coastline.

Day 3 Monkey Mia – Carnarvon

In the morning you have the opportunity to come face to face with the famous dolphins. Before our next stop at Shell Beach we pay homage to this World Natural Heritage area with a visit to the Shark Bay Interpretive Centre in Denham. We will stop again, this time at Hamelin Pool where the world best known colony of stromatolites can be admired. Typical “Outback Australian impressions” will accompany you on the drive to Carnarvon.

Day 4 Carnarvon – Exmouth (Ningaloo Reef)

After enjoying breakfast our today’s destination will be beautiful Coral Bay. Here, we will encounter the 260 km long natural wonder of the Ningaloo Reef. Specialists say that the marine life of this reef is more abundant than that found at the Great Barrier Reef. As the reef is not far from shore it can be readily available to discover with the aid of snorkel and flippers on an outing in a glass-bottom- boat. The shallow water of the reef is the homeland to various sea creatures, such as corals, unusual sea stars, crustaceans and over 500 species of different fishes. In the afternoon we take up our journey to Exmouth.

Day 5 Exmouth Whale Shark Snorkel Tour (Ningaloo Reef)

Pick up from our accommodation and transfer to the jetty. After the crew are introduced and a vessel safety brief is given, wetsuits and snorkel equipment are handed out and fitted. The marine adventure then begins with an introductory snorkel on the beautiful inner Ningaloo Reef. We are waiting for the spotter plane to notify us that a whale shark has been found. This day, swimming and snorkelling so close to that majestic big fish, will provide you with unforgettable memories that you will keep all your life. After a delicious lunch and if time permits, we head back to the inner reef to conclude the day with a reef snorkel. You may have the opportunity to see manta rays and humpback whales from the boat.

Day 6 Exmouth – Airport Learmonth – Perth

Today after breakfast this fabulous tour comes to an end with the transfer to the airport Learmonth for your flight back to Perth (flight is not included in this tour).

Optional: Returning back to Perth with us in 2 days? There will be not sightseeing on the way back. You will get overnight accommodation in Geraldton (Motel incl. Breakfast).

6-Day Humpback Whale Snorkel Tour: Ningaloo Reef & UNESCO World Heritage Areas Highlights of the Tour
Explore two UNESCO World Heritage areas and immerse yourself in some of Western Australia's most iconic landscapes. This unforgettable 6-day adventure offers a perfect blend of marine and terrestrial wonders, from snorkelling with majestic humpback whales to exploring awe-inspiring national parks.
Key Attractions: Nambung National Park : The stunning Pinnacles Desert Kalbarri National Park : Murchison Gorge and coastal views Shark Bay World Heritage Area : Shell Beach, stromatolites, and Monkey Mia dolphins Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area : Coral Bay snorkelling, humpback whale encounters Tour Itinerary Day 1: Perth – Kalbarri
We head north along the coast via Jurien Bay and Leeman towards Geraldton, the sunniest town in WA. Cruising along the coastal road, we enter the Kalbarri National Park via Port Gregory. You can experience some of the most picturesque grazing land as well as the rough coastline. In the early evening, we will arrive in the “laid back village” of Kalbarri.
Accommodation: Kalbarri Edge Resort, Kalbarri Day 2: Kalbarri – Monkey Mia (B)
After breakfast, we farewell Kalbarri. We continue into the Kalbarri National Park with breathtaking views down to the Murchison Gorge. Depending upon the season, our drive through the Kalbarri National Park to the World Heritage area of Shark Bay will be escorted by the famous wildflowers. In the afternoon, we arrive in Monkey Mia, home of the well-known dolphins. Nearly every day of the year, they come to the shore to give you a unique experience that will never be forgotten. There is time for relaxing and swimming on this beautiful beach. Before dinner you will be taken on a catamaran cruise to experience the silent sensation of sailing and capture the five-star view of the coastline.
Accommodation: Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, Shark Bay Day 3: Monkey Mia – Carnarvon (B)
In the morning, you have the opportunity to come face-to-face with the famous dolphins. Before our next stop at Shell Beach, we pay homage to this World Natural Heritage area with a visit to the Shark Bay Interpretive Centre in Denham. We will stop again, this time at Hamelin Pool, where the world's best-known colony of stromatolites can be admired. Typical „Outback Australian impressions” will accompany you on the drive to Carnarvon.
Accommodation: Hospitality Motel, Carnarvon Day 4: Carnarvon – Exmouth (Ningaloo Reef) (B)
After enjoying breakfast our today’s destination will be beautiful Coral Bay. Here, we will encounter the 260 km long natural wonder of the Ningaloo Reef. Specialists say that the marine life of this reef is more abundant than that found at the Great Barrier Reef. As the reef is not far from shore, it can be readily discovered with the aid of a snorkel and flippers on an outing in a glass-bottom boat. The shallow waters of the reef are home to various sea creatures, such as corals, unusual sea stars, crustaceans, and over 500 species of fish. In the afternoon, we set out for Exmouth.
Accommodation: Mantarays Ningaloo Beach Resort, Exmouth Day 5: Humpback Whale Snorkel Tour (Exmouth) (B/L)
We start the day with a boat cruise from the Exmouth Marina to the tip of the North West Cape. Along the way we’ll take in the sites that make Ningaloo unique: the Navy Pier, Mildura Wreck, Vlamingh Head Lighthouse and Lighthouse Bay. We will also conduct an introductory reef snorkel. Ningaloo Reef sees one of the largest populations of migrating Humpback Whales in the world. These majestic creatures cruise past the West Australian coast each year, offering us the perfect opportunity to observe them. Once a group of whales is located, they will be observed for a while, and if it is deemed safe, swimmers will be allowed to enter the water. Humpback whales are known to be quite curious creatures, so the interaction is all up to them. This day, swimming and snorkelling so close to these majestic whales, will provide you with unforgettable memories that you will keep for all your life.
Accommodation: Mantarays Ningaloo Beach Resort, Exmouth Day 6: Exmouth – Learmonth Airport – Perth (B)
Today, after breakfast, this fabulous tour comes to an end with the transfer to the airport, Learmonth, for your flight back to Perth (flight is not included in this tour).
Optional: Returning to Perth with us in 2 days? There will be not sightseeing on the way back. You will get overnight accommodation in Geraldton (Motel incl. Breakfast).
