Kitty’s Gorge Hiking Experience

Join Off The Beaten Track WA and a crew of happy hikers as we follow the Gooralong Brook through one of Perth’s most beloved trails, Kitty’s Gorge!

We’ll wander along Stacey’s Loop and the Kitty’s Gorge Trail, crossing wooden bridges and passing moss-covered granite outcrops, trickling cascades and lush jarrah forest. You’ll trace the route of the old pioneer town of Jarrahdale, weave through remnants of pine plantation, and follow the gorge downstream to the spectacular Serpentine Falls in Serpentine National Park.

Along the way, we’ll pause beside the Serpentine River for a delicious morning tea, surrounded by tranquil forest sounds and towering trees. Our journey ends with a chance to relax at the falls, often shared with friendly kangaroos basking in the sun.
