Kangaroo Island Wildlife Encounter - Guided Coach Tour
Explore Kangaroo Island and meet some of its most iconic animal inhabitants on this 1-day wildlife encounter charter.
We start your Wildlife Encounter with a scenic drive to Pandana and Kangaroo Islands famous Wildlife Park. With over 150 Native Australian wildlife and over 600 animals you’ll be able to see all those iconic Aussie Animals you’ve been searching for! Emus, Koalas, Kangaroos, Dingoes, Wallabies, Penguins, Reptiles, even the smiling Quokkas all call this Wildlife Park home and are just the tip of the iceberg of what you will see during your visit.
Whilst at the park you can even purchase a small bag of Kangaroo food and feed some of the local Kangaroos or Wallabies. Or why not go all out and purchase the optional Koala Holding experience? There’s nothing like giving a Koala a cuddle!*
Next enjoy lunch like a local with an authentic Aussie Pub experience. Choose from a range of local favourite pub meals. Will you try a Chicken Parmi? Or the local burger? Or maybe go full Aussie and indulge in some good old fish and chips? It’s up to you! (Please note – cost of lunch is at your own expense).
After lunch enjoy a drive through local bushland to Seal Bay Conservation Park. An unspoiled coastline and a local sealion population makes Seal Bay one of South Australia’s top ten tourist destinations (as voted on Trip Advisor).
Home to an Australian sealion colony for almost 1000 years, you’ll be amazed at the sight of these beautiful local marine mammals as they laze about on the beach. A 900-metre boardwalk makes this easy access for young and old alike and provides fantastic views of both the coastline and the colony. You might even get to see sealions snoozing directly under the boardwalk itself!
Lastly, head down to Pennington Bay for a photo op of its amazing rocky coastline and pounding waves. It’s gorgeous aquamarine water and unique rocky formations make for a great photo.
