Brisbane City sights and Mount Coot-tha - Private Tour

Discover the best of Brisbane in comfort and style with our exclusive half-day private minibus tour , thoughtfully designed to showcase the city's most iconic sights and hidden gems. The City Sights and Mount Coot-tha tour is the perfect way to get acquainted with Brisbane’s vibrant culture, lush green spaces, and breathtaking panoramic views — all in just a few relaxed hours.
Tour Highlights:
Brisbane City Drive-Through
Your journey begins with a guided scenic drive through Brisbane’s bustling city centre, where contemporary skyscrapers sit alongside colonial-era buildings. Learn about the city's rich history, from its Indigenous roots to its modern-day growth as a thriving cosmopolitan hub. As we pass landmarks like City Hall, Parliament House, and the Story Bridge, your guide will bring the city’s stories to life.
Brisbane City Botanic Gardens
Next, we stretch our legs at the peaceful City Botanic Gardens , a riverside haven at the edge of the city. Stroll beneath heritage-listed trees, discover colourful tropical blooms, and admire the gentle curve of the Brisbane River as it wraps around this tranquil oasis. It's a perfect photo stop and a chance to soak in the serenity. We will stop here for morning tea.
Mount Coot-tha Lookout
We then head up to the stunning Mount Coot-tha Lookout , Brisbane’s most iconic vantage point. From here, take in panoramic views over the entire city skyline, the winding Brisbane River, and — on a clear day — even out to Moreton Bay. Your guide will point out landmarks and share fun facts about Brisbane’s layout and natural surroundings. It’s a must-see stop for first-time visitors.
South Bank Parklands
Descending from the hills, we cruise over to the cultural heart of the city: South Bank . This riverside precinct is home to parklands, walking paths, cafes, galleries, and the famous Wheel of Brisbane. As we drive through, you'll hear about South Bank’s transformation from Expo ’88 to the beloved lifestyle and arts hub it is today.
New Farm Park & Powerhouse Arts Precinct
Our final destination is the charming New Farm Park , a local favorite known for its grand fig trees, rose gardens, and riverside walks. Nearby is the Brisbane Powerhouse , a converted power station that now pulses with artistic energy. While we won’t enter the venue on this tour, your guide will provide insights into its history and current role in Brisbane’s arts and entertainment scene.
