PASTA, PINOT & PAPA

PASTA, PINOT & PAPA

Father’s Day Italian Cook & Dine Experience

This Father’s Day, celebrate Dad around the table.

Fresh pasta. Bubbling lasagna. Golden crostoli. Espresso. Gelato. A glass of Pinot in hand—and that unmistakable Italian warmth.

Pasta, Pinot & Papa is Roving Larder’s hands-on Father’s Day Cook & Dine experience: rustic, generous, comforting and designed for families who want to give Dad something more meaningful than a standard lunch out.

This is not just a pasta class.

It’s a full Italian celebration.

You’ll roll fresh pasta, fill delicate agnolotti, build a proper lasagna, toss a peppery salad, fry golden crostoli and finish with affogato—because Italians understand that dessert should involve both gelato and coffee.

You’ll cook.
You’ll sip.
You’ll learn.
Then you’ll gather around our long table and enjoy the Tuscan-inspired feast you helped create.

WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT

Father’s Day restaurants can be crowded, noisy and rushed.

This experience is different.

You’ll spend genuine time together, learn something new and create a generous Italian meal from scratch—all under the guidance of your Roving Larder chef.

You’ll discover the foundations of fresh pasta, learn how to build flavour into classic Italian dishes and see how simple ingredients become something extraordinary when treated properly.

It’s hands-on, social, generous and full of heart.

Perfect for dads, grandads, partners, adult children, teenagers and families who believe fresh pasta, Pinot and a long table are an excellent way to celebrate.

HANDS-ON COOKING & DINING EXPERIENCE

This is not a cooking demonstration where you sit politely and watch someone else have all the fun.

At Roving Larder, everyone gets involved.

Your chef will guide you step by step through the menu, sharing the techniques, timing and kitchen tips that make Italian cooking feel approachable and deeply satisfying.

You’ll prepare the pasta dough, fillings, sauces and accompaniments, assemble the lasagna, taste as you go and enjoy the energy of a warm, buzzing Italian-inspired kitchen.

Then comes the best part.

You’ll pour the Pinot, sit down at the long table and enjoy the meal you helped create—with good company and that very satisfying feeling of:

“Yes, we made this.”

ITINERARY

Please arrive 15 minutes before the class start time so we can welcome you properly.

We’ll begin with nibbles and a welcome drink while everyone settles in.

Your chef will introduce the menu, explain the flow of the experience and guide the group through each stage of the cooking.

You’ll prepare the dishes, practise the techniques and enjoy the beautiful chaos of an Italian kitchen.

Once everything is ready, we’ll gather around the long table to share the meal together.

Good food.
Good Pinot.
Good people.
A very good Father’s Day.
