An interactive city discovery experience across Sofia’s Centre. You’ll solve riddles via a web app in your phone’s browser. All the information you need for your adventure is in your email from Secret City Trails. This is a self-guided tour, we do not meet you at the start location and you can enjoy your discoveries at your own pace.

Solve 14 riddles. Your challenge starts at the intersection of Ivan Vazov Street and 6ti Septemvri Street. Each riddle takes you from one (hidden) location to the next. You’ll unlock local recommendations and fun facts - as well as the history of the city.

You discover spots in Sofia’s Centre that most locals don’t even know. You see popular sights from a different angle (literally!). Planning to explore one of the oldest capitals in Europe? Turn it into a playful adventure by going on a treasure hunt! Look for answers to entertaining riddles in ancient ruins, majestic churches, and other mysterious spots to feel like Indiana Jones and Lara Croft combined. Along the way, you’ll get to know stories of mighty empires and communist regimes that shaped the city over its history, and unlock recommendations shared by locals for you to enjoy.

The highlights you discover on this game: The beautiful National Theatre, the wall-to-wall poetry project, buzzing Vitosha Boulevard, the medieval church of Sveta Nedelya, Roman ruins and of course, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.

This game is suitable for friends, couples, families with kids and team buildings. Enjoy being together while exploring a city, be creative and use your imagination to find city’s secrets!

End in front of ST Sofia Church and Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
We do not meet you at the start location, you will receive all information via email from us.
Play 7 days a week, during daylight hours (recommended). Public holidays excluded.

• Right after booking, you receive the play link to the City Trail (sent by email from Secret City Trails)
• This trail is available in English
• The link is valid for 90 days, starting on the date you booked the activity for
• Discover the city at your own pace, take as many breaks as you like
• You need internet connection and a little data. You'll play on your browser. No app download is needed.
