The Itinerary for Your Unforgettable Day in The Yarra Valley
8.40am - We meet at "The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia", Flinders Street, 3000 to depart promptly at 9am.
(This is next to "Beer DeLuxe Fed Square") - A 2 minute walk from Melbourne's main train station - Flinders Street Railway Station.
- We set off on our one hour scenic journey, passing through beautiful Warrandyte on the way.
10am - We arrive at Soumah Wines to sample a variety of red and white wines.
11am - Four Pillars Gin Distillery. Here you will enjoy three of their gins. (Or we can walk you over to the incredible Payten & Jones for a wine & Spanish vermouth tasting or one of their dozens of international beers they have on offer).
OR
11am - Payten and Jones for a wine tasting. If gin isn't your thing - Payten & Jones for a Wine & Spanish Vermouth tasting consisting of Sangioveses and Tempranillos. This is a 10 second walk from Four Pillars, so we can easily split the group up here depending on your preference. If you do not want a wine tasting, then we will happily buy you a beer from one of their dozens of international beers they have on offer!
12.15pm - Quarters Restaurant @ Hubert Estate, where we all sit on one or two tables together, where we all order and pay for our own lunch and drinks. (If you don't want to join for lunch, you can walk over to the cellar door and buy yourself a drink whilst enjoying the artwork they have on display in the indigenous art gallery on the floor below).
- If you are quick with lunch, we will happily run you to Chandon for a photo opportunity of the beautiful view. It depends on their busyness as to whether they can offer you a seat, where you can buy yourself a quick sparkling wine.
- The Yarra Valley Dairy in on route to the Chocolaterie, so you can hop out and buy yourself some cheese to take home with you.
2.15pm -Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery for a guided tasting of 10 different mouth-watering chocolates to sample. After the informative talk, feel free to buy yourself a generously portioned gelato to enjoy on the 10 minute drive to the last winery of the day.
OR 2.15pm - Yering Station Winery. If The Chocolaterie isn't your thing, then let your driver know at lunch and they will happily take you to Yering Station Winery where you can buy yourself a glass of wine at Victoria's first planted vineyard (1838).
3pm - We arrive at our last stop of the day, Yering Farm Wines, for wine tastings with a view!
3.45pm - Depart from Yarra Valley to be back to Federation Square at between 4.45pm-5.15pm.
We have chilled coolers and waters onboard. We share the music, so you can pitch in with the Spotify playlist if you love your music whilst driving.
