Welcome to our Limestone Coast Coastal & Wetlands Photographic Experience. This full-day tour departs from Naracoorte and explores some of the most diverse and visually striking landscapes in the region, from quiet rural backroads to expansive wetlands and dramatic coastal scenery.
Guided by professional photographer Jacqui Bateman, you will learn how to read natural light, capture texture, and respond creatively to changing environments throughout the day. The experience is designed to strengthen your storytelling skills through photography in real and dynamic outdoor settings.
The morning begins with rural landscapes and open-road photography around Lucindale, where wide horizons, textures, and countryside scenes set the tone for the day. From there, the journey continues to Meningie, where you will explore the Coorong wetlands and capture reflective waters, birdlife, and the unique atmosphere of this iconic environment.
By midday, the tour arrives in Robe for a relaxed lunch stop, giving you time to rest and explore the historic coastal township.
In the afternoon, the experience continues along the Limestone Coast shoreline, photographing beaches, cliffs, and natural coastal formations. The changing light brings warm tones across the ocean and headlands, creating strong conditions for landscape and texture photography.






The day concludes with a return to Naracoorte after a full and immersive photographic journey across wetlands, rural countryside, and rugged coastal landscapes.

Guided by professional photographer Jacqui Bateman, you will learn how to capture mood, composition, and natural light across changing environments. The experience is designed to strengthen your storytelling skills through photography while working in real outdoor conditions.
The morning begins with wetland and lakeside photography around Millicent, where reflective waters, birdlife, and natural textures create strong early shooting opportunities. The journey continues into the rural landscapes of Glencoe, offering open country scenes and textured compositions.
By midday, the tour arrives in Penola for a relaxed lunch break and time to explore the historic township. This provides a cultural pause within the day and a chance to reset creatively.
In the afternoon, the experience moves into the Coonawarra wine region, where structured vineyard rows, seasonal colours, and soft light create ideal conditions for landscape photography.






The day concludes with golden hour shooting across vineyards and rural landscapes before returning to Naracoorte, completing a full and immersive Limestone Coast photographic journey.
