Hells Gate Geothermal Valley & Mud Spa Experience

A vehicle and a driver will be provided for this trip to Rotorua where you will visit Hell's Gate Geothermal Park. The trip will start from Port of Tauranga, Salisbury and take you to experience the magic of New Zealand’s most distinctive geothermal destination. Relax in rejuvenating mud baths and soothing sulphur spas and witness the awe-inspiring sight of the Southern Hemisphere’s largest hot waterfall. Steeped in ancient myths and legends this extraordinary land has been a source of healing and wonder for generations.
Included in the price is your entry fee for the ‘Hell’s Gate Experience’ where you’ll enjoy all three of Hell's Gate's most popular experiences;
Start with a self-guided interactive geothermal walk (a map will be provided upon arrival). Here you will see the largest hot waterfall in the Southern Hemisphere and read about the Māori legends and historical uses of this geothermal area.
After the walk, indulge in the famous mud bath (20-minute time limit for health and safety reasons) where the therapeutic mud is known for its ability to soften skin and detoxify the body.
Following the mud bath, rinse off and unwind in the sulphur spa pools.
These naturally heated waters help relieve muscle tension and improve circulation, making it a rejuvenating experience.After your relaxing spa experience, enjoy an optional snack (at your own cost) at the Hell's Gate Café. They offer a variety of snacks, sandwiches, and light meals, perfect for recharging before heading back to port.
