SEIT Kata Tjuta Domes (SKD)
You will travel to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to a place where unique flora and fauna thrive, Kata Tjuta (The Olgas).
Here your guide will reveal the many attributes of this diverse environment and describe the cultural significance of Kata Tjuta as a sacred Aboriginal men’s ceremonial site.
Arriving at Walpa Gorge you will walk between the mighty conglomerate domes and hear how these 36 domes that make up Kata Tjuta have evolved over millions of years.
Take time to listen to the wind (Walpa) far above and view the scale of the rock walls that surround you. The spirituality of this amazing location embraces everyone who ventures here. Your guide will return you to your hotel in time for those people joining any of the resort's evening dining experiences such as Sounds of Silence, Field of Light Dinner or Tali Wiru.
Summer Itinerary:
Travel to Kata Tju t a, where your guide will reveal the many attributes of this diverse environment. Stop at the Southern Dune Viewing Platform for panoramic views of Kata Tju t a, and Ulu r u in the distance. Then travel closer to Kata Tju t a, and from the Western lookout, you will learn about these mighty conglomerate domes and how they have eroded over millions of years. Finally, take a short drive on the famous Great Central Road to the western boundary of the National Park, before returning to the resort, arriving back in time for any dinner experiences you may have planned.

SEIT Uluru Highlights (SUH)
As you travel towards Uluru, its vast shape rises from the sand dunes in the early dawn light highlighting its presence in this country. Your guide will take you to a special location to watch the sun rise over this amazing monolith and enjoy an outback picnic breakfast. You will visit Mutitjulu Waterhole along the Kuniya Walk and learn the Creation stories of Liru (venomous snake) and Kuniya (woma python). After this short walk we will drive around the base of Uluru and hear the story of the Mala people before returning to the resort.
The perfect sunrise tour for those short on time or who don't want to walk too far.

SEIT Valley of the Winds (SVW)
Welcome to the world of Kata Tjuta and the Valley of the Winds.
These spiritual domes offer a challenging, difficult (Grade 4) walk between giant geological formations showcasing awe-inspiring scenery. Your guide will lead you on this 7.5km hike, the entire circuit through this sacred men’s area where you will see a diverse range of flora, and learn about the European history of this amazing region.

SEIT Kata Tjuta (SKT)
Your SEIT Tours guide will meet you at the entrance of your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort and your tour will travel through the landscape to the entrance of Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park. From there is it a 40 kilometres journey through the desert landscape to the mighty rock formation.
On arrival at the viewing area you walk to the best vantage point to see the 36 domes that comprise this spiritual place while watching the suns morning glow as the desert comes alive.
We make our way to the western side of Kata Tjuta where you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy an outback picnic breakfast. As you approach the entrance to Walpa Gorge, named for the wind (Walpa) that whistles between the massive domes that shape Kata Tjuta, the result of eons of weathering and continual upheaval, your guide will share the significance of this men’s sacred ceremonial site.
We take a stroll between these mighty conglomerate rock walls as your guide explains how the environment and the geology have evolved over millions of years.
Your guide will return to your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort.

Come and join your SEIT Tour Guide to explore the most profound and culturally significant monolith in Australia.
Departing the resort, the tour will travel through the landscapes to the entrance of the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. From this point, it is only a matter of minutes before the spectre of Uluru rises from the sand dunes to demonstrate its enormity and presence in this country. Our first stop allows you a photographic opportunity of this amazing icon. With Uluru looming in front of you, you journey toward the base.
As you drive around the base, your guide will take you to the entrance of Mutitjulu Waterhole, a semi-permanent watercourse nestled in the contours of Uluru. Here you will learn the Creation stories of Liru (venomous snake) and Kuniya (woma python) as well as a number of other stories associated with other prominent Tjukurpa (Creation) stories. You will see the rock art of the Anangu people and learn how Uluru was, and still is, a significant location for teaching young Aboriginal people. We then adjourn to the new Talinguru Nyakunytjaku viewing area where you will observe an uninterrupted view of Uluru with Kata Tjuta in the background as the sun sets. Revel in the peace of the desert as you enjoy a chilled sparkling wine. Your guide will then return you to your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort.

SEIT Uluru Trek (SUT)
Come and join your SEIT guide on a trek around the full base of Uluru and explore the most profound and culturally significant monolith in Australia. Your guide will meet you approximately one hour before sunrise at the entrance to your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort to begin your journey into Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
Then after arriving at the base of Uluru, you will begin your sunrise trek around the 12 kilometer base trail and embrace the culture, geology and environment that is the essence of this amazing monolith.
Along the trail you will witness sunrise, visit waterholes and the rock art sites of the ancients and learn of Uluru’s cultural significance to the Anangu (local Aboriginal) people. Take time out to enjoy your picnic outback breakfast as you listen to the variety of desert noises from the surrounding environment.
As you make your way around the base, your guide will tell you a number of stories associated with prominent Tjukurpa (Creation stories). From the Tjukurpa of Liru (venomous snake) and Kuniya (woma python) learnt along the Kuniya Walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole to the story of the Mala people heard along the Mala Walk to Kantju Gorge, this full base walk gives you the opportunity to truly immerse yourself in the beautiful culture and history of this amazing place.
After arriving back at the starting location, your guide will return you to your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort.

After sunset, an SEIT Guide will transfer you to the AAT Kings’ exclusive barbecue site. The site is within the Uluru National Park, set amongst red sand dunes and desert oak trees providing a peaceful desert setting. The site is located far enough away from the resort lights to provide a clear view of the stars in the southern sky (weather permitting). Once at the site, you will enjoy a variety of Australian meats and salads, accompanied by a glass of wine, beer or orange juice (menus are subject to change). After dinner, tea, coffee and dessert will be served. Your guide will conduct a tour of the night sky, describing and pointing out some of the visible constellations with the assistance of a high beam spotlight (weather permitting). The guide will also explain some Aboriginal stories that relate to the stars before you return to Ayers Rock Resort.
