Star Gazing Broome

Come and join us for a fun and exciting astronomy night under the stars! You’ll look through lots of telescopes, including special self-tracking ones that follow planets and stars all by themselves. We’ll explore the Moon’s craters, see planets like Jupiter and Saturn with their moons and rings, and even find star clusters and galaxies far, far away.

We’ll show you how the universe works using a big outdoor projector, with cool pictures and videos that make space easy to understand. You’ll even get to try flame spectroscopy—where different colours of fire show you what stars are made of!

You can also take your very own astro photos of the night sky, so you can remember what you saw and share it with friends.
