Wine & Vineyard Madrid

Just a short drive from Madrid city centre lies a host of vineyards that make up the denominación de origen of Madrid. A wine region split into four sub-zones, each with something special of its own.
Even though the D.O. is relatively young, the winemaking practices and history of wine in this region go back centuries.
We offer you the chance to visit one of two of the sub-zones. Whether it's in the mountains with spectacular views or among the tinajas of winemaking cellars, we're sure you'll enjoy this half day experience where a qualified guide (also native English) accompanies you to two wineries to learn more about their practices before concluding each visit with a tasting and snacks.
We pick you up and drop you back off to a central location meaning you really don't have to worry about anything other than enjoying yourself.

Immerse yourself in modern and traditional winemaking practices in Ribera del Duero; Castilla y Leon's shining star denomination.
We'll show you three wineries ranging from large to small to bring you closer to the wine and the winemakers. On the trip you'll learn about the denomination and its history, the life-cycle of the vine, and winemaking practices accompanied by barrel and traditional tastings, allowing you to taste wine in its vinification process and once completed.
Your guide holds the Spanish Wine Scholar certification and is also certified by WSET and with native English.
We organise either a traditional lunch or picnic between the vines in idyllic surroundings.
This is a complete day with approximately 2 hours of travel each way so please plan your evening accordingly to allow for potential traffic delays.
