During this hour, you will be guided through the centre and introduced to a wide range of our amazing birds of prey. You’ll have the opportunity to learn all about how they live in the wild, as well as how we train them in captivity.

During the tour you’ll be able to handle several different birds, with plenty of time to get those all-important photographs. Finish off by watching us working alongside our feathered friends in our flying demonstration.

This hands on experience gives you the chance to discover the rich history of falconry, and get up close and personal with some of the world's most spectacular birds of prey! The exhilarating hour-long course is designed to give you an insight into the life of a falconer, and as well as learning how to fly and handle the birds you'll also learn about the history of falconry too. So why not experience the majesty of hawks and owls first hand and discover just what it takes to become a falconer!

This incredible half day falconry experience gives you the chance to take a closer look at some of the world's most majestic birds of prey, and learn how to handle everything from owls to eagles! Throughout the day you'll be working with a huge selection of birds, as well as flying and handling the birds. So get ready to find out just what it takes to be a falconer for the day.

Important information: Under 16’s must be accompanied by a paying adult.

This is a unique opportunity to handle and fly some of our larger birds. Landing on your gloved hand, you will witness the sheer power of these majestic birds of prey.

Not only will you be left awe struck by these truly birds, our friendly and knowledgeable staff will make sure you really enjoy yourselves and will ensure that you go away with more knowledge about these birds than you arrived with.

This unique falconry experience gives budding photographers the chance to capture the majesty of birds of prey in full flight. Over the course of the day you'll have the chance to photograph the birds up close, and doing what the do best – soaring through the air! The daily flying demonstrations form part of this experience too, and as the birds are put through their paces you'll be able to capture some incredible action shots.
