Let’s be clear—if you’re passionate about aviation or dreaming of becoming a pilot, this is the perfect experience for you. London Sightseeeing Tour

When you arrive with us relax in our offices and take in the amazing views across a busy active airfield. Before taking your flight, you'll take part in a short safety briefing with one of our Commercial Pilots. Then you’ll be ready for your 35 minute London Sightseeing Tour by helicopter. Departing from Redhill Aerodrome, you'll first head to across the Surrey Countryside and the M25 before entering the Heathrow Control Zone and heading into Central London itself. Joining the River Thames at Barnes you can sit back and enjoy as you take in the stunning views from the air of this historic city. You'll follow the River Thames just above the height of the Shard and have fantastic views of the centre of the city. After seeing so many famous sites, you’ll head back toward Redhill. Your Professional Pilot will provide helpful commentary along the way while talking to Air Traffic Control. The total flight time is estimated at 35 minutes, but we recommend allowing an hour for the whole experience with us.

Surrey Royal / Kent Heritage - 25 minutes

The Exclusive Flight is for hire of the whole helicopter, the aircraft will carry up to 3 passengers.
This fantastic trip takes you over the beautiful Surrey countryside and combines scenic country views with historic buildings. Flight time is approximately 20-25 minutes, air traffic allowing.
You leave the airport for an aerial view of Redhill and Reigate as you head towards Box Hill, a famous beauty spot. Box Hill overlooks the Mole Gap where the River Mole breaks through the line of the North Downs. It is the scene of the famous picnic in Jane Austen’s “Emma”. You then continue westwards over the largest vineyard in England, Denbie’s just to the north of Dorking. Turning north west towards Polesden Lacey the National Trust Georgian mansion that was the honeymoon retreat for King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.
Continuing north west you will over fly the Royal Horticultural Society building and flagship gardens at Wisley and the state of the art glass houses. You then proceed to Clandon Park, which was built circa 1730 for the 2nd Lord Onslow by Venetian architect Giacomo Leoni. One of the country’s most complete example of a Palladian mansion.
Finally you turn east to look at Albury Park Mansion the magnificent Grade II listed Tudor Mansion with 19th Century additions is one of Surrey’s most important and prestigious country houses. Albury Park Mansion is renowned for its great architecture, first by Sir John Soane and later by Augustus Pugin, who designed the 66 different chimneys that are a compelling feature of the house today.
Returning over Dorking on route back to the airfield will normally afford views over the London skyline and the busy Gatwick Airport, then it’s back to Redhill Aerodrome.

London Olympic Helicopter Flight 45 minutes

This London Sightseeing tour with the Olympic Extension continues your flight along the Thames all the way down to the Isle of Dogs!
Your flight starts soaring across the Surrey countryside north towards Central London. After flying over the crowded M25 traffic you head for the famous Epsom Race Course and into the London Heathrow Control Zone. From Banstead and Nonsuch Park you will track the A3 past Wimbledon and Richmond Park heading towards the arch of Wembley Stadium.
Joining the River Thames at Barnes we pass Craven Cottage and the Chelsea Football Club. On the north bank will be Chelsea Harbour and on the south bank, Battersea Power Station looms. From this advantage point, you can clearly see Hyde Park, The Royal Albert Hall and the private gardens at the rear of Buckingham Palace. Just past the left-hand bend in the river and Vauxhall Bridge are the Houses of Parliament on one side and the Millennium Eye on the other.
You are now in the very Centre of London with sights coming thick and fast. Trafalgar Square is quickly followed by Horse Guards, St Paul’s, The Globe Theatre, The City, The Tower of London, HMS Belfast and Tower Bridge.
The Olympic Extension to your Tour the flight continues along the Thames down to the Isle of Dogs, marvel at the massive scale of the Olympic village and take in the surrounding scenery from the air. The village encompasses a world-class Aquatics Centre and the new Stratford International station in East London. Including this in your London tour adds an extra 10 minutes to the sightseeing flight giving you 45 minutes in the air.

South Coast / Thames Medway Estuary - 1 hour

Spend an hour soaring through the air for a grand tour of England's beautiful South Coast for up to 3 passengers.

Your tour starts at the beautiful Redhill Airfield. Climb aboard one of our modern helicopter fleet and take-off heading south for Gatwick. Passing directly over Gatwick Airport you will get an amazing view of the terminals, taxiways and big airliners coming and going from London’s second biggest airport. Your pilot will be your tour guide and can tell you all about the activities below.
Following the Brighton mainline you will see the huge Ouse Valley Viaduct sometimes called the Balcombe Viaduct, built in 1842, it is an incredible 450m bridge spanning the Ouse Valley, carrying the London to Brighton railway line, and built from 11 million bricks for the princely sum of £38,500; it is an incredible feet of engineering.

Continuing south takes you past the Sussex towns of Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill, then on over the South Downs to the Port town of Shoreham and The South Coast. On reaching the beach you turn eastwards towards Brighton. In the sea looms the wreck of the old Brighton West Pier destroyed by fire in 2003. Keeping just off the shoreline you will have fantastic views of the city and coastline. Further along the beach you fly over the newly refurbished Brighton East Pier with it’s fun fair. On leaving Brighton you over fly the chic Brighton Marina packed with some of the latest and most expensive yachts.
Moving east you may glimpse the Newhaven Ferry as it leaves or returns from Dieppe in France. You will get a great view of Newhaven ferry port and docks as your journey continues. The coast now changes shape to chalk cliffs and rocks as you head for the world famous Beachy Head. With it’s massive record breaking white cliffs and lighthouse, it is a sight not to be missed.

Continuing along the coast you arrive at Eastbourne with its smart new Sovereign Harbour. Now turning north you fly past Halsham and Crowborough which is situated on the Weald next to Ashdown Forest. On reaching Edenbridge you turn west paralleling the North Downs towards South Godstone Station snatching views of the London skyline. Back at Redhill Aerodrome now, your pilot will smoothly land back on the helipad. It’s time for photos and maybe a cream tea at the Nutfield Priory?

Portsmouth & Isle of Wight - 1 hour 30 minutes

This is our longest tour at an amazing 90 minutes flight time.
Starting from Redhill Aerodrome and flying west past Dorking, Box Hill and Denbies Vineyard. Flying over the lush woodlands and past the stunning Paladial Mansion of Albury Park you head south through beautiful valleys, passing many impressive country homes. Next is Dunsfold Airfield home of the BBC program Top Gear. Continuing south you over fly the market town of Midhurst with the ruins of Cowdray House set within the stunning “Capability” Brown landscaped Cowdray Park.

Then crossing over the South Downs you will see The Isle of Wight in the distance. The flight takes you over Hayling Island, where the windsurfer was invented. Heading out over the Solent towards the four 18th Century Forts that guard the Solent (Now all private homes or Hotels) you arrive over Ryde on the Isle of Wight and follow the River Medina to the town of Newport in the centre of the Island then on towards Blackgang famous for smugglers of yesteryear. This particular section of cliff and coastline is famous for Dinosaur fossils and the clearly visible rapid erosion by the sea, many houses now perilously close to the edge! Following the shoreline you continue westwards towards the famous Needles. You swoop low over the water to get an unsurpassed view of these jagged rocks and the lighthouse.

Turning back towards the east you will follow the northern shoreline to Cowes, the sailing centre and capital of the island. Many yachts adorn its harbour, you may even be able to see some of the exciting racing events that happen all through the year. Just to the east of Cowes is the imposing Osborne House. Queen Victoria and her husband Prince Albert bought Osborne House in October 1845. Prince Albert designed the house himself in conjunction with builder Thomas Cubitt the London architect and builder whose company also built the main facade of Buckingham Palace.

Crossing the sea back to Portsmouth, home of the British Royal Navy. As well as a fantastic view of The Spinnaker Tower, you will also see the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard with HMS Victory and HMS Warrior. You may also see some of the visiting ships in the Naval Dockyard that come in from time to time for a refit or naval celebrations. Now back over the open countryside you head northeast over flying small villages and market towns such as Chiddingfold. In the distance is the North Downs and Surrey. A trip that you well remember for some time, showing the stunning countryside and the varied coastline of Southern England.
