Your tour today really does encapsulate what Southbound Escapes is all about - "It's all about the story". The stories you will here today are not only fascinating, mesmerising but hopefully empowering too. You will meet with three incredible producers whose journeys will inspire you and amaze you.
The South Coast has one of the most pristine coastal environments in the world and these three producers all depend on it staying that way. They are fully invested in doing their part for marine conservation so that they can stay in business.

Our two producers are Merimbula Gourmet Oysters and Sea Health Products. Their products are sought after by the top chefs in Australia and indeed the world. Between them they have been featured on Masterchef, won Delicious Magazine Produce Awards, won film awards and Jo from Sea Health Australia is currently travelling the world on a Churchill Fellowship meeting other producers in her field to learn what they do, and bring her knowledge back to Australia. We will not tell you much more as we want you to hear their stories from them.
