of Bruar
Nestled beneath the Atholl hills, the renowned House of Bruar makes the
perfect first Highland pause. Pick up a fresh morning coffee, browse Scotland's
premier countrywear and artisan food halls, or take a refreshing woodland stroll along the pine trails to view the dramatic, tumbling torrents of the Falls of Bruar—a scenic natural gorge celebrated in Robert Burns's poetry.
Inverness – Capital of the Highlands (Lunch)
Crossing the wild expanses of the Cairngorms and the Pass of Drumochter,
we arrive in Inverness, the historic capital of the Scottish Highlands. Take in
commanding views of red sandstone Inverness Castle overlooking the rushing
River Ness, admire the twin spires of St Andrew's Cathedral across the water,
and enjoy a relaxed lunch at one of the city's independent riverside bistros,
traditional pubs, or cosy cafés.
Loch Ness & The Wellington Bomber Memorial
No Highland journey is complete without standing beside the deep,
ink-black waters of legendary Loch Ness. Along the tranquil shoreline, we stop
to take in the vast sweep of the Great Glen and reflect at the evocative site
associated with the historic Vickers Wellington Bomber "R for
Robert"—the World War II aircraft that ditched in Loch Ness in 1940 and
was preserved for decades by the cold, peat-rich freshwater before being
recovered. It’s an intriguing blend of wartime aviation heritage, peaceful Lochside
vistas, and monster folklore.
Clava Cairns & Standing Stones
A short drive takes us back into ancient prehistory at the
4,000-year-old Clava Cairns. Set in a peaceful, tree-shaded clearing, this
remarkably intact Bronze Age sacred burial cemetery features circular passage
graves, cairns, and towering standing stones aligned with the midwinter
solstice—widely celebrated by Outlander
enthusiasts for inspiring the mythical Craigh na Dun.


Pitlochry (Victorian Perthshire)
Heading south through the rolling hills of Perthshire, we take an
afternoon break in the picturesque Victorian town of Pitlochry. Cherished since
Queen Victoria’s visit in 1842, its bustling stone-built high street is ideal
for an unhurried wander. Pick up traditional Highland shortbread, browse local
tartan knitwear, or treat the family to artisan ice cream before the homeward
stretch.
Homeward Bound: Edinburgh (Around 7:00 PM)
Unwind as your minibus glides through the rolling farmlands of Fife and
back over the Forth, dropping your group directly at your Edinburgh doorstep
with your evening free to rest and dine.
Day 2: Glencoe, Loch Tulla & The Bonnie Banks
of Loch Lomond

Luss & The Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond
Our first stop brings you to the picture-postcard conservation village
of Luss, nestled right on the western shore of Loch Lomond. Stroll along
charming lanes lined with 19th-century slate cottages adorned with climbing roses
or wander out onto the wooden pier for calm morning vistas across the UK's
largest expanse of fresh water, with the rugged peak of Ben Lomond rising
gracefully across the loch.
Loch Tulla Elevated Viewpoint
Leaving Loch Lomond behind, we climb north through the dramatic pass of
Glen Falloch and across the edge of wild Rannoch Moor. We pull up at the
elevated viewpoint overlooking Loch Tulla, where you can step out into crisp
mountain air and capture panoramic photos of the sparkling loch below, framed
by the sweeping Black Mount mountain range and ancient Scots pine remnants.
Glencoe & The Iconic Three
Sisters
Descend into the heart of Glencoe, arguably Scotland’s most

Turning homeward through the scenic Trossachs National Park, we make our
final stop along the peaceful shores of Loch Lubnaig. Nestled between the
steep, forested slopes of Ben Ledi and Ardnandave Hill, this narrow, sheltered
freshwater loch is an ideal spot to stretch your legs on the level Lochside
path, skip stones across the water, and breathe in the tranquil forest air.
Homeward Bound: Edinburgh (Around 5:00 PM)
