Sunset Walking Tour
This easily accessible walking tour takes visitors on a moderate walk to the pristine floodplains at the mouth of the Gascoyne River. Along the way listen to your guide share traditional Yinggarda stories. Learn about traditional bushfoods, medicine plants and wildlife of this area. At certain times of the year the bush here is ablaze with colourful and delicate wildflowers.
Learn how these and other natural events were important seasonal indicators that the Yinggarda people lived by.

Come see the Bees
This two-hour tour is a great introduction to the Yinggarda people and their culture. At certain times of the year the bush here is ablaze with colourful and delicate wildflowers. In early spring, the (Moogadgurrah) Burrowing Bees emerge during their frenzied mating season. The walking tour takes visitors through the heritage trail, along the way learning some Yinggarda culture as well as Carnarvon's local history. Join us for an immersive journey, where nature and culture intertwine to create an unforgettable experience.
